It’s has the odd funny moment but the endless mentions of Queen and Wales start to grate after a while. As does Robins tongue in cheek Partridgesque presentation style. Elis James seems like a decent bloke but he just isn’t funny. Even Robins gets tired of having to perform the polite laugh after...Read full review »

This starts as a podcast to keep you company and then it becomes a way of life. I can’t imagine a day not in the presence of Elis & John making me laugh and occasionally cry. Start listening and join the family

Listening to every episode after falling in love with the 5 Live podcast over lockdown. Their podcasts keep me going and their radio sections inspire me to work on radio myself.

Such a lovely show that my best friend and I have had an opportunity to bond over since she convinced me to put aside true crime podcasts long enough to give it a try. Working my way through the backlogs got me through my daily bus journey for a year and we’re both crushed that the show has moved...Read full review »

The podcast is all round good fun. It can be a tad heavy at times but if you stick in for the long haul you’ll love it. The pair juxtapose each other in such a way that it will leave the listener on tenterhooks.

For me the Elis James and John Robins podcast has only been part of my life for the past 18 month. During that time it has made me laugh uncontrollably in public, and it’s brought a tear to my eye at the most unexpected times. Please give it a listen, they are genuinely good people and excellent...Read full review »

What can I say about, Elis and John? God question! Well, these two are absolutely worth their weight in gold. John with his precise grammatical vocabulary and knowledge of the English language. His great imagination and quick whit. James with his... high pitches angry voice (which sounds like,...Read full review »

Firstly let me say I love the podcast. John and Ellis make my days brighter, my one star review relates to a constant issue I’m having with the podcast repeating a few times randomly.
