Switzerland Confidential: What happened on our train tour of the Alps

Description
Hello from Berlin. This week’s podcast is all about Switzerland — our rail tour and our adventures in Grindelwald. Before we go there, here’s this week’s question: What’s the strangest thing you’ve eaten in your travels? I ask because we’ve just finished a tour of Berlin’s urban gardens. And they grow and eat some things you would not expect (details in the next podcast). Here’s Aren on the Glacier Express with some friends he met along the way. You get eight hours of really stunning scenery on this rail adventure. The hike up to the Matterhorn in Zermatt. Wow, it just doesn’t get any more beautiful than this. It was rainy and cool for most of our trip, but on this day the sun came out and we had a Chamber of Commerce day. The famous crows of the Jungfraujoch, in the middle of a snowstorm in July. This little guy was really hungry. I’ll have details on these bird encounters in the podcast. Here’s a close-up of the Döner Kebab on our unsanctioned food tour of Lucerne. No one knows for sure what they put in these, but they sure are good. Don’t forget this week’s question: What’s the strangest thing you’ve eaten in your travels? This is a public episode.
