I really appreciate how AR is able to ask very pointed questions of his guests, backed by excellent notes and background research that illuminate the topic.

I’m listening to the Brittany Page interview which I found really interesting & really fought to get through it due to the host’s constant “mmm-hmm-ing” throughout. I know it’s intended to endear support of & interest in the guest but it’s really distracting.

I love this pod. It’s such a great dive into various aspect of philosophy and society with great interviews. Aaron, I don’t know if you read these reviews. If you do, I’ll happily trade you a fifth star (AND Patreon support) for working on not saying “mhm-hmm” so frequently while your guests are...Read full review »

This is one of the most consistently interesting and useful podcasts I listen to.

For somebody who is so tedious about language, out of the gate Callie calls themself a “slutbag” a misogynistic slur. That could have been an interesting conversation about gendered slurs. So much for “critical thinking.” I gave this podcast a good year and a half.

The host seems to be reasonably well informed but his interview style …. Yikes. Talking over guests, muttering while they are speaking - cheap shots while they are making a point - I don’t know if it’s worth continuing with.

Keep it up!

This podcast silly. There is nothing interesting or enlightening. It’s like a couple of stoned 14 year morons going, “man have you ever thought about….” Waste of time.

Aaron joyously pounces on every problem with the anti-woke crowd, which is fine, but is utterly incapable of noticing any of the left's excessesRead full review »

That episode was affirmative action for conservatives/libertarians. Young is dumb as rocks and tedious to listen to, with nothing interesting or original to add to the topic at hand. You don't have to have them on, you know? Stick with smart people.Read full review »

THANK YOU for holding her feet to the fire, and not backing down. She sure likes to hear herself talk. Personally, I can’t take her seriously as a writer or intellectual, when she uses “Uhhh” and “Y’know” to collect her thoughts, instead of just pausing to think of what she wants to say. I...Read full review »

From the perspective of a layperson in the philosophy world, I highly recommend this show because it gives me so many delicious new ideas to play with. (I especially liked the episode on Discordianism!) Honestly though, you should listen just for Aaron’s delightfully evil giggles while he...Read full review »

Love the new interview format (definitely recommend you speak to Derek-Malone France). Thanks for philosophizing!

I want to enjoy this podcast. The content on philosophy is spot on and I find the conversation informative and stimulating. I stopped listening a while back and just jumped back in; I am struggling to get through Ep89. The word “like” is being said approx every 5 seconds. 5 stars for content,...Read full review »

....and I'm better for it. I didn't know how to exist in this, the voidiest of timelines, but by embracing the void, I have embraced rejecting the void while being part of the void of which I am separate.Read full review »

Even if this is the worst-timeline-ever, Embrace the Void provides me with a stygian optimism to face it.

Aaron, GW, and the occasional guest, dig in to philosophy with the gusto that is both accessible, humorous, and tenacious. If you are a little warped and interested in how mind-thinky things work, this show is definitely for you.

No other podcast has spoken to me and for me quite like this one. I first heard Aaron as a guest on Serious Inquiries Only speaking about Antinatalism months before the hosts first child was due to be born. He had the courege and disregard to tell someone expecting a child that creating sufferers...Read full review »

Intelligent hosts turn their cynicism and frustration into tools for assessing and navigating the current cultural wasteland. I wish I could have turned my similar feelings and experiences into something so positive, but was unable. I am therefore thankful that I learn from this example of an...Read full review »

This is one of the podcasts that I know the usual release day and time! It's a fantastic podcast for examining a wide range of philisophical subjects in this, the darkest of all possible time lines. Humor is best defined as “benign violation”. It must break a norm or expectation yet still be benign. (Woody Allen called this the “bends is funny. Break is not”. The show at times makes awful statements as jokes but doesn’t seem to be aware of how harmful it is to some audiences who may...Read full review »

Embrace the Void is thought provoking and interesting. In the black hole that is the current timeline, we need more podcasts that make us think. Highly recommended!

This is an intelligent, funny, deep dive into the Void in this darkest of timelines. Plenty of good philosophy, political commentary, dick jokes, and seriously-heartfelt discussion of how to survive the Trumpocalypse with ironic humor, dark wisdom, empathy, and passion. Highly recommend!!!

Brings us closer to the truth of this timeline and brings us closer to the abyss that we are staring into. Philosophically rigorous, intelligent, and with a bleak, voidy aftertaste.
