Tax evaders living it up
I thoroughly enjoy the daily pod so I thought Id check out this one as well. But this guy, on top of being pretty cringe with his inside lingo ( fire nation 🥴 very childish), proudly announces how he is able to afford his "entrepreneur" lifestyle in Puerto Rico because of act 60, which is widely known to be the tax evaders dream and a rule of law that is making very detrimental impacts to puertorricans, you know the people who then have to make up and suffer (literally getting priced out of their own country) for all the property taxes and all the taxes from monetary gains that him and his family are not paying. Yuck, tacky. I would hope that younger generations are attuned with the impact of privilege and would see sustainability for a place like Puerto Rico as something that IS the future and that is beyond the cheap immediate satisfaction of capitalism.Read full review »
