Entertaining & a big inspiration for solo roleplaying!
Along with The Bad Spot, Errant Adventures has become my favorite podcast focusing exclusively on solo ttrpgs. As someone who, until last year, didn’t even know solo roleplaying was a thing I have found countless hours of enjoyment from this new hobby. Not only has EA been great just for the fun stories & lovable characters he creates during campaigns, but he has also been instrumental in helping improve my own ttrpg experience. For those new to the podcast, I highly recommend starting with season 3, Cry Havoc, not only cuz it’s my personal favorite so far but also since I think it essentially showcases the best this podcast has to offer. If you enjoy season 3 then definitely check out the other seasons & the bonus/standalone episodes as well! Each season is a standalone campaign so you can jump around as I did. Love this podcast and looking forward to more!
A most wonderful pastime
Not only does Steve play a wonderful game, he tells a story and immerses the listener into the world.
Great intro to the system.
Good intro to the Starforged system. Audio quality is great. Only critique would be that creator doesn’t always pick the right moves for the situation, (I.e faces danger in combat when he should be reacting under fire) (uses face danger when he should be using repair) and definitely takes it easy on himself with misses. (Which is a perfectly valid style of play but I prefer more consequences for failed rolls) Also moves from moves to move a little fast without doing much narrative between moves and very generous on determining what counts as reaching milestones.
