In this episode, we interview Nick, an international relations professional who has been raising awareness to men's mental health and physical health issues with the Movember Foundation over the last year. KB and KC discuss the need to shed light to men's mental health issues, gender parity in health, and the need to look at these challenges through an intersectional lens.

In our final episode of Season 1, KC sits down with Ada Volkmer from "Se ve se escucha", a podcast about language justice. Language justice is many things...it is the right to speak the language we are most comfortable in - it is the ability to create multilingual spaces - it is the ability to be involved in our democracy regardless of the language we speak - it is the ability to access social and health services without language or translation barriers. Put simply, it is a fundamental base to uphold basic human and civil rights.

Two education practitioners who give us insight on issues affecting the Latinx community such as access to public education, language and socioeconomic barriers as well as representation within the education system both from an international and domestic lens.

In this episode, we interview Ana Sierra and Evelyn Jimenez, two latinx therapists who practice in the DC/Maryland/Virginia area. We discuss the importance of bilingual therapy, mental health needs of first generation immigrants, and latinx representation in this field.

In this episode, we sit down and have a discussion with Amari, Donovan, and Rafael, three life long friends who identify as third culture kids. The three have lived most of their developmental childhood years abroad, growing up in cultures outside of their parents' and their own native culture. We discuss how this upbringing has shaped their identity and life perspectives.

In this episode, we interview Eileen, an art therapist who works in the LGBTQ community in Atlanta. Eileen uses they/them pronouns and identifies as a gender queer/non binary boricua. We explore gender identity, sexuality, and the process of "coming out" to friends and family through a latinx lens. Eileen also shares they story and sheds light to art therapy as an approach for counseling and healing.
