They keep me in the loop and grinding
Edit: My twitter handle is @KeithJCarlson The content you guys post can be some of the most interesting, but the most digestible. That doesn’t mean it is base level or dumb, but that you guys use easy to understand lingo and it is thought in a way as to not alienate your listeners. John said something that stuck with me in the most recent pod, I don’t know the direct word as of this review but that it was akin to, the most important thing is to have fun. Winning is fun but also not feeling cheated out of a victory is also fun. That is so important to hear these days, especially in the fgc! Where winning can be the only thing that matter but learning from your losses can still be something fun and good! The pod is well paced and the discussions all feel well informed and come from a place of sincerity. I don’t get to read the website much anymore but the topics on the pod give me a great up to date synopsis of the weeks in the fgc. Stay awesome you guys! Small story: When i was younger I played a lot of fighting games, mainly mvc2 and guilty gear, but I stopped for no good reason. Once 2010 hit, I turned 20 and my desire for a new video game adventure took hold and I had the urge to play fighting games for the first time in years! I had no idea where to start, so I just googled fighting games and eventhubs was the first site that popped up! So I looked through it all and saw so much content and at the time sf4 was the game to play and so I decided to pick it up. Thanks to all the information, guides, tournament coverage, and even the variety of games covered I spread out and found new games, and new ways to play. Posts like stick buying guides and interviews were huge to me, it enabled me to understand the games, and how to approach fighting games from a more logical and informed way. To this day, it is still an autoloading webpage on my browser!

I love the podcast. Keep it up. You should also cover other fighting games like Tekken or have a guest that can. - John_a

I throughly enjoy this podcast every week during my commutes to work and back. They get some good interviews, and some good insight on events.

Love the podcast just wished they gave other games the spotlight at times. Otherwise very insightful and informative. Keep up the good work!
