I am repeatedly drawn to this podcast. Every time I listen, and I listen almost daily because I am late to the party of Kate C. Bowler, I become more alive and I want to live more! I must cry or almost cry during every one of these episodes, sometimes sad tears sometimes happy tears and...Read full review »

Here’s a person of faith who is actually honest. Rare these days. She’s been through the wringer, as have many of her EXCELLENT guests. The heart, the compassion, the wit. Keep a box of tissues on hand. Some eps will have you in tears or laughing until you cry. Come feel the love 💙💜

If you’re looking for stories and interviews that cast a hopeful look at humanity, you’ll find it here. Thankful for a space that gives validity both hope and difficulty and not forsaking one for the other. Thanks for curating such a much needed show!

I’m late to this party. I read Kate’s book a while ago, but just began listening to this podcast and I decided to start from the beginning - I’m catching up. This podcast gets to the heart of what it is to be alive, slogging through life and trying to make the most of it. The guests discuss...Read full review »

Kate, your love and humor inspires me. If we lived closer, I know we’d have so much fun laughing at ourselves and at the harsh absurdity of life. Thank you for telling the truth about the human condition. We are all a lovely mess!

This is the only podcast that I am giddy to see when a new one drops, the only podcast where I listen to EVERY episode. Kate has a genuine love for mankind and all of the sufferings that we encounter in life. Her perspective is not just her own, yet her life experience helps balance the scales....Read full review »

The podcast is interesting and thoughtful but truly shocking she would have Everlywell as a sponsor. For someone whose life was saved by modern medicine, pushing non scientific nonsense is surprising.

I started listening around the time the pandemic began. Of all the podcasts I have listened to, this is among the few that are truly life-giving. I’ve suggested this to many others and will continue to do so. Keep going Kate. Thank you. Peace

I searched for Richard Rohr and came up this this gem. What a heart she has, perfect timing on this episode for me… my husband passed 18 months ago, I have been clinging to the past and my children, but, I feel like it’s time to let go (of being so needy and not involved with my life). Listened to the Gladwell episode and felt it was a bit boring but then when he called being un- vaxxed “stupidity that should be forgiven” by nurses and the host agreed with a very dramatic “yesss!” - I realized that this was a podcast that would push a narrative and not be open to other views,...Read full review »

Host should try to say less “yeah” in a whispery voice. She talks so softly, yet at one point was laughing so loud and totally drowned out several sentences of the guest.
