Ok
Ok if you want to hear about Russell Masterbating and living in a council house. Also too much left wing excusing of the excesses of their idols. But, it is a work of genius to gather together so many people that know so little.

I have been listening to this since the first series as I like the concept, and I think Russell Kane is good as the presenter. This would definitely be a 5 star show if it wasn’t for the obnoxious, vacuous, and unfunny ‘comedian’ guests. It’s almost a if they are trying to outdo each other to see...Read full review »

Geoff Norcott prospering off the “need for balance” as always. Ironic as he is almost certainly against affirmative action.

I don’t place much faith in the final label, but the discussion is often hilarious, and I always learn something new. The arguments are more revealing about today’s attitudes than about the figures themselves.

This is one of my fave podcasts! Of course everyone has less positive elements to their character, but to be a generally revered icon & have those flaws exposed & explored is irresistibly good listening. I relished the undoing of John Lennon & Ghandi, but when it came to my own hero,...Read full review »

This podcast would be amazing if they had expert guests. Russell is very funny but the comedic guests give it a too many cooks in the kitchen vibe with ‘i’m the funniest’ being the overall theme. Bring on some experts please, might learn something that’s not on google.

This is intensely difficult to listen to with all of the nonsense. Trying so hard, it isn’t funny.

Whether I like it depends entirely on the guests. This week’s offering is unlistenable with Darren Harriott spouting absolute rubbish, had to abandon it. The other guests sounded like they could happily have done the same but were contractually bound to listen to his drivel. Thankfully I could...Read full review »

Some people have a voice for radio. Kemah Bob doesn’t. Please don’t invite her back. Aside from this, the show is generally very good.

I enjoy the concept and humour, it’s often very funny and Russel is a great host. However it would benefit from getting guests on who know something about the subject, I would really enjoy listening to some experts contributing to this series.

No ideological diversity and they engage in presentism. Don’t waste your time unless you like echo chambers.

I’ve now finally caught up on all of the shows. Brilliant, funny, interesting, entertaining it does it all. Well structured program and always with a few surprises. I hope there is more to come. Well done all involved.

Like being trapped at a university party with no booze, only gluten free hummus to eat, and all the wokest students on campus telling you how the world should work. Then the host breaks out the guitar .

Really glad the show is back for another season - can I suggest PG Wodehouse as a potential candidate for a future episode?

It’s a shame that Russell Kane has to carry the show a lot of the time. Many of the guests are vacuous and have nothing interesting to say. This would be excellent if the guests could contribute and had opinions rather than reactions. I’ve just listened to a comic who merely repeated what...Read full review »

I’ve found this Pod Cast last week (I’m new to pod casts) and I’m currently powering my way through them all. I’m up to Charlie Chaplin. They are great and the guests he has are really good to. It’s good to hear things about these people that I never knew! Keep up the good work. Very entertaining

Popcorn podcast full or whit and facts taking conversations places you never knew existed! You will laugh out loud and have people looking at you funny through the car window!

Haha! Y’all burn my biscuits sometimes , but it’s fun to agree, and just as much fun to yell at inanimate objects! Allen Ginsberg killed this poet…I know! Obviously pedophiles are bad, but driving them underground hasn’t been great either!! He changed the world with a POEM!!! Also, Thatcher...Read full review »

Sara Barron ruined you Warhol episode. She is not representative of American comedy.

It is a really fun listen. Nonetheless, it is more comedy than history. Still one of my favorite comedy podcasts.

Funny and light hearted a much needed fun look into some interesting characters and you learn a few things along the way that make you think. Not quite sure why some on here are choosing to take this so seriously. Also love the guests so far on this series.

This podcast used to be good and was very interesting learning a few facts about the famous celebs. But now all has gone rapidly down hill. Do we really have to be informed of the hosts working class upbringing on every episode! Boring. Please hand over the baton to someone else and give the show...Read full review »

The format prevents any nuanced conversation from occurring. Russell (I love you realy Russel) struggles to moderate and instead just throws often irrelevant facts in to an already chaotic situation. The lack of any experts prevents context from being added and many guests hijack the conversation...Read full review »

Used to be good but gets far too woke these days rather than actually focusing on the individual in question and their context. It’s all virtue signalling, victim complex and pretty much border line race baiting. Most of the guests lack the intellectual capacity to understand this though. It’s...Read full review »

Basically take an interesting subject, add a presenter who thinks he’s funny, try to debate it with a bunch of morons, throw in a few pathetic nob-jokes and a bit of virtue signal ring for good measure and there you have it. An award-winning podcast. Give me a break

Was very pleased when I noticed a new episode and series had begin but it seems now that the only evil argument presented is to do with race and sexism. Yes it can be a valid and important argument but is the target of the podcast only chosen when they discover any form racism or...Read full review »

Love that Evil Genius is back but I couldn’t listen to this latest episode as all I could hear was four people just all shouting and competing to be funny at once. Got 10 minutes in. Keep up the good work, stay off the racket.

Hey Russell, love the podcast. Very entertaining and educational too. Are you coming up with more? 2 suggestions for future subjects to scrutinize: Miles Davis and Marlon Brando. I know they’d make for great shows!

I got as far as the Whithey Houston episodes and had enough, its changed from an evil / genius discussion into the same discussion about race every single episode. Any person on any one day can achieve something genius and evil and only they will know the difference. To be called a genius by one, there is someone else that had to pay for it. I felt disturbed after two episodes and stopped.

Ugh, I want to like this podcast, I really do. Russell Kane is one of my favourite comedians and I enjoy his quirky cerebralness and truly believe he’s a great advocate for social mobility. But this is comedians dressing up serious characters and then have to all intents judge evil or genius and...Read full review »

Just like any kind of comedy, this isn’t a show that would suit just anyone’s taste. The host isn’t a historian; he’s a comedian. The panel is guided through a discussion on a historical figure with a handful of salient points along the way. At the end, panelists vote whether the person’s...Read full review »
