“I am very lucky that I happened to flip the radio on when an episode of Exactly! came on. I really "shouldn't" like this show, and had no intention of tuning in. I usually go for information-dense science and policy programs, which this is not. I don't know almost any of the guests, and didn't know Kelly Corrigan until her program came on the radio. And I don't generally enjoy shows that are so little scripted, or so open-ended in intent.
Instead, I was spellbound! And it's been that way with almost every episode I've listened to since. The show has so much that you would want: it's insightful, it's witty, it's moving; the chemistry between Kelly and her guests is almost always popping; it brings up so much about just being human in the world in an honest and disarming way. You'll laugh, you'll feel tugs at your heartstrings, you'll smile knowingly and want to shout out "Yes: Exactly!"”
