Out of touch but more honest than some
It’s eye opening to hear someone be honest about using their privilege and money to use a drug meant to treat actual diseases to lose a few vanity pounds. I know people who would benefit from using Ozempic due to their pre diabetic status who are unable to access it. The people who write for the beauty industry are living a life that most people can’t relate to. I do like that they addressed the Tarte press trip. It seemed like such an out of touch trip filled with excess in a country with so many human rights violations. I don’t often review podcasts but something about the Ozempic experience struck me as really wrong. The healthcare in this country is indeed broken. Those with money will always have access to whatever they want. Tarte continues to live in the 2010s with their excess but their displays in stores look like tumbleweeds are gonna blow though at any minute.

More reviews of Eyewitness Beauty
I like this podcast but 40% of the episodes are them pontificating. I’d love to have time stamps to skip to the actually interesting portions

First review I have ever written after two decades on the internet - marvellous podcast with two luminaries of the OG beauty crew on the internet. Cannot wait for the next episodes
