“Every so often a podcast comes along and much to the chagrin of my wife, my friends, and my family, I literally sit every one I see down and MAKE them listen to my favorite episode of it. This has only happened twice before, with Welcome to Nightvale and Last Podcast on the Left, both of which were years ago. But it's happened again. Episode 9 of Fairy Tales for Unwanted Children is the most amazing vignette I've ever heard. It ripped open my chest and broke my heart in the most amazing of ways. And every other episode so far has left me with a sense of either wonder, foreboding, or fear. “Short story podcasts are difficult to find, I deeply appreciate these clever short stories, and the calming voice of the reader. It is unusual for said podcasts to update so consistently, as stories are difficult to write, but this one does so almost weekly. Lovely imagery and beautifully written.”
