Customer Reviews
How did I not know about the podcast until today?
Anyone who’s a Christian that’s concerned about the drift towards xenophobia, white supremacy and nationalism that characterize much of America’s right wing evangelicalism, will be thrilled to listen to this podcast. I’m just on my first episode and I’m jumping for joy! Keep up the great work guys
Not impressed
I am a politically independent Reformed Christian from a “white evangelical” background. And although I am highly skeptical of that background and some of the theodicies and politics that it entails, I am also not so one-sided as to think they, a minority in this country, are one of the main problems. And your incredulity to the real documented conspiracies, not “conspiracy theories”, in this country found in the Left and Right, in the mainstream media, crony big business, big religions and religious movements (not just on the right), are why I will not continue listening. You seem humbly arrogant. You speak of the close-minded right, while not checking your own facts from both sides. The hypocrisy of blaming the right for being divisive while not attending to any of the divisiveness on the left is not lost on me. So you lost me. God bless you and I hope you challenge yourself by checking your facts and worldview, to see if they are true.
Intelligent and thought-provoking
I've followed Scott on Twitter for months and admire his approach to current issues of society, politics, and the Church. Didn't realize he had a podcast and am happy to say I wasn't disappointed. Intriguing conversation with interesting guests. Will return for more.
