A step towards justice
When “Breaking News” dropped, I was a relatively new fan as I started following MJ in 2007. His death was (and tbh, continues to be) devastating to me, so I was really looking forward to the unreleased music and did not believe the rumours that these tracks were fake. Well, just like many fans in this podcast, I realised they were indeed fake within the first few seconds of the vocals kicking in. I was horrified and took to the forums to vent about it, and I remember people being actively insulted and censored for saying these tracks weren’t MJ. Well, we were right, and they were wrong. I’m so sorry to hear what Mac and James had to go through - I probably read their posts back in the day and had no idea the trouble they were in. Well done on the series and documenting the truth so thoroughly. Ironically, I think such a thing could only happen to MJ, because he’s so legendary that the estate doesn’t even need to try to do a good job - the money prints itself regardless. These amateurs got defrauded by a bunch of fools who spliced in the same ad-lib a dozen times in these cursed tracks. It’s truly shameful.

A damning investigation into the fraud committed by the MJ estate, meticulously documented over the last decade is just brilliant. Thank you for this.

Facts are presented in a methodical and interesting way. You get a clear picture to this fraud and its implications. Everyone...Read full review »
