Repetitive and padded
The story is really interesting, but they clearly didn’t have enough information to fill 6 episodes. A lot of repetition, particularly with interviews and audio clips. Then, for a few episodes they got really desperate to fill time and shoe-horned in a completely unrelated story about a family of killers 100 years before the McCreary’s. There’s some interesting stuff here, but there’s only enough material here for maybe 3 episodes.

Wondery’s true crime podcasts have gotten so lazy. Half these stories could be told in 1-2 eps.

In-depth, suspenseful, and cinematic, this is true crime podcasting at its best! The hosts of the Murder Sheet are great — love their command of the case. Also enjoy hearing from the law enforcement officials (past and present) to get their insights. Great work, Wondery!
