Repetitious AND All Over The Place!
I don’t know who thought this was a good idea to release as is, but it’s extremely redundant. The same recordings played over and over. Also, the random sidetrack story about the Bender family from the 1800s made it even more confusing. They weren’t even related to the main story. Not sure why that was even added. It feels like no editing was done. Just take all the audio files and put it all in….then replay some of it several times. I found myself yelling at my speakers “Just get on with it already!” But I stayed with it just to see how it ended. It was a tough listen tho. Surprised Wondery put their name on this one.

The sound quality of the contributors is poor and the same info seems to be rehashed in the first three episodes. The repetitive intro-style background music is very distracting. I’d just like to hear the narrator speaking without it playing over and over.
