I guess he wasn’t a “Company Man”
A few updates now the fantasy season is winding down… IMO, the show improved greatly with Berry’s departure. There is more fantasy content and less “fluff.” When Berry was there, I would fast forward 5 minutes into the podcast to avoid his annoying anecdotes in order to get to the fantasy content. HOWEVER, Dopp appears to be growing into Berry’s role and picking up his bad habits. Please tighten up the beginning of the show and stop interrupting. Finally, Field Yates has a habit of turning his sentences into questions by raising the inflection of his voice at the end of the sentence. This makes his statements sound like questions. Just compose your thought as a question already! I know…I’m nitpicking. But I’m a loyal listener and I present these critiques with peace and love. 😀 Previous Review: Can someone please tell the audio technician to lower Daniel Dopp’s microphone port when the show starts? His voice is too loud and the sound is horrible for the first few seconds of the show. Lastly, please tell him to stop constantly saying “To your point.” I don’t miss Berry. Update… With Berry’s departure, the show seems to flow more smoothly. I do wish him well. My ears bleed every time I hear Matthew Berry say “ESPN... I’m a company man.” followed by the Sportscenter jingle. That’s just one example of the tired old bits on this podcast. If I had a dollar for each time Berry says the phrase “To your point…”, I would be able to retire. Berry, Bell, Clay, Yates, and the staff have valuable information but it’s embedded in long winded diatribes and off topic conversations. If they want to make it a comedy show then at least do the listeners a favor and time stamp the topics so we don’t have to listen to their dribble.
