Doing too much
This podcast use to be top tier. But with the move to “live” on Twitter a few years back has really ruined it. First the hard out at 1 hour has broken the format and a lot of players and teams rarely get me mentioned. Second with a tight amount of time, leaning into Matthew’s awful tangents and side stories just vultures the opportunity for actual discussion about fantasy football. Thirdly, I think they often forget this is an audio medium. They reference to many visual jokes, that by choosing an audio medium we won’t/can’t understand (for example the last two years of awful Halloween accents that are grating). Really wish they could find a way for a separate show that was solely focused as a podcast that focuses on actual discussion, and not a audio repurposing, even if the host had to be totally different.

This show can't stay on focus for the life of them. I like some fun,but when you talk about fantasy football for two minutes in a twenty minute show? Come on, why not call it 120 good seconds and 18 aimless minutes? Much better shows out there.Read full review »
