In this episode Elizabeth speaks with Melinda Sullivan, the Director and Founder of Melbourne My Style, Established in 2017, Melbourne My Style is a publication that prides itself on an industry-focused, factual style of reporting on fashion, hospitality, lifestyle, and entertainment. Along with the publication, Melinda has also established Melbourne My Style Creative Agency which focuses on purpose-led company campaigns, combining international influences from trips abroad bringing unique diversity to content created, through styling, imagery and creative writing. About Melinda: Born and raised in Melbourne, in country Victoria. Melinda entered the fashion industry in her early 20's working for 'Garfunkle' in Melbourne, as part of the pattern making team and ended up becoming the Assistant Systems Manager, developing and maintaining in-house fashion systems, to promoting company promotional campaigns. Working directly with designers, fabric consultants and manufacturers gave her a great insight into the fashion industry hands on before she left and went to MYER and worked co-ordinating the Mega Mart by MYER project. Prior to establishing Melbourne My Style 3 years ago Melinda completed a diploma in styling, social media, television and PR and began her passion to be a creative and aspiring writer, endeavouring to create a social media empire and be a fashion enthusiast the public will love and relate too.
