Description
In this last episode of Fashion: No Filter Season 1, Camille and Monica tackle the ultimate elephant in fashion’s wardrobe: sustainability. Fashion is the second most polluting industry in the world - second only to oil  - with the fast fashion industry growing at a breakneck pace that is totally unsustainable for the planet. But what are a couple of fashionista’s to do? While your hosts are the first to hold their hands up and admit their lifestyles are far from being totally sustainable, in this episode they seek to inform themselves on what they, and their entire industry can do better. First, Camille pays a visit to the go-to authority on sustainable fashion in Britian, broadcaster, journalist and author of To Die For: Is Fashion Wearing out the World , Lucy Siegle. Meanwhile, Monica gets on the line to Kathleen Talbot, VP of Operations and Sustainability at one of fashion’s most beloved eco-friendly brands, Reformation. They discuss the rampant success of the label and the challenges of growing small eco-brand into a global business. And, Camille meets with Cyril Gusch of Parley for Oceans to tackle fashion’s ugliest addiction: plastic. Plus, a Dressed for Radio not to be missed, with the unveiling of Fashion: No Fitler’s first ever sustainable design collaboration, proceeds which will be donated to the Plastic Oceans Foundation.
