“I really love true crime and this story is one that I’ve been familiar with. I was excited(in that morbid true crime way) to see that there was such a thorough podcast on the family.
First, the interviews are heartbreaking and the research is excellent. But- way too much commentary from the hosts. It would be right in the middle of a great interview and then stop to hear “wow. That’s so sad.” I don’t need to be led in my emotional response nor do I need to hear theirs.
I would have liked the podcast so much more if we could just have heard from the people who experienced the tragedy. And there were times that the timeline felt off. I enjoyed it but I almost stopped because I couldn’t take the interruptions.”
