Draft Reaction: Seahawks stay put, take WR D’Wayne Eskridge in the 2nd round
Listen now
Description
Rather than trade back to get more picks in this draft, the Seattle Seahawks stayed at 56 and took D’Wayne Eskridge out of Western Michigan. If you take a look at some of the highlights up at Field Gulls you'll see the kind of speed the Seahawks love to see at wide receiver. He's also a player who has the ability at kick returner that Seattle fans have been looking for reminiscent of what Tyler Lockett did early on in his career. Eskridge was one of the players Tony Pauline brought up in the interview earlier this week if the Seahawks decided not to take an offensive lineman or cornerback. EJ talks about some of the other players who were still on the board and where the Seahawks could look to go with their next pick.
