Who is who and who they look like
Five stars. I came to this podcast via Katey and Little Gold Men. For a while I had trouble figuring out who was who. Obviously Katey was the woman, but I eventually figured out David was the one with the bad mic quality (glad to hear he bought a new one). For an even longer time, I couldn’t figure out which voice was Patches and which was Da7e. I knew one lives in Colorado and has a daughter? One is in New Jersey? One of them write for Polygon. Anyway- I can tell the difference between all four now (but still don’t know which background belongs to Patches or Da7e). In my mind this is what I think everyone looks like: Katey- Allison Williams David- Dave Holmes (of former MTV fame) Patches- a slimmer Kevin Smith Da7e- I don’t really know...Justin Long? Danny Pudi? Definitely a skinny, nerdy vibe Thanks gang!

I don't know why you all let David talk so much - he is snobby and insufferable. I would not ever listen to him alone but Katie, Da7e and Joanna make the podcast enjoyable. Please, please less David and more of everyone else!

As someone who loved listenting to OpKino and the crew ineviably turn to groan at the more obscure films being brought up by either Patches or David this new title is apt. Yea it sounds like they just fight all the time but there's more often than not some thoughtful disscussion of Film (and...Read full review »
