almost as good as world of tomorrow ep 3
Reactivated my 11 year old iTunes account for this! Having never quite found a movie discussion podcast that fit my tastes for HOT current film industry topics and eclectic films to yesteryear and today, I was so happy to find this podcast here, where the hosts argue fitfully over the latest festival-ciruit darlings, extol the virtues of Iranian Cinema, and put Aquaman into a Top 10 films of the year list all in equal measure. What i really dig from this podcast is just how much the host's passions for cinema, in all it's varieties and permutations, comes through. There are few things as good as watching a fantastic film, but I'd say hearing someone talk about how a film MOVED them like a fat kid rolling down a mountain is close enough. So many of my new favorite films (Portrait of a Lady on Fire, Certified Copy, The Farewell) I got turned onto by this podcast, and I hope to find many more as the show continues on! Also props to them for doing this great show while running some of my fave film/culture sites at Polygon, Indiewire and VF! (Sorry Da7e, i don't do GoT and LOST but I'll get to the Korra-cast soon enough). They're all clearly passionate for their craft and it's a pleasure to listen every week!Read full review »

A long time ago when I was a much younger man (about 2 years younger to be exact) I reviewed the old podcast and stated that it was good but Patches was sometimes really annoying. Well in the following 2 years I have grown to love Patches and consider him a vital part of the team. So sleep well...Read full review »

I love this podcast. Even when I disagree with their opinions, I always respect their points of views as they are smart and clearly love the movies. Thanks for all the great content.
