Film Kid Asks is the podcast by film students for aspiring filmmakers. It centres the conversation around what we want to know going into the industry by digging into the origin stories and experiences of professionals working in film. Episode twenty-four is a conversation with editor and director Ken Filewych who has worked on projects like Heartland, Ginger Snaps Back and The Smalls: Forever is a Long Time just to name a few. We discuss his university experience, what he looks for in an assistant editor, and his workflow on different genres and formats of television, among other things.
