Happy Holidays!
At first you guys were just one of many iOS development podcasts I consumed but with time you guys grew to be my favorite. I can’t remember the first episode I heard but I’ve listened to almost all of them. I followed you guys while Zack was just starting off in iOS development and Rocky was just a puppy. From when Zack got his first iOS job to when Steven quit Event Farm to teach at Lambda. From Ints to UIPicker. From motivation to burnout. From when I first heard Zack pronounce “Jenkins” to when Steven taught us that NWPathMonitor was for monitoring people heading in a Northwest direction. I had been postponing giving you guys this review until after I got my first iOS development job, but after not getting it before the New Year I figured I’ve waited long enough. Of course, I’m disappointed that I haven’t got that job yet but I know I’ll get it soon. In 2019, I worked a lot of terrible jobs, but you guys helped me get through them by filling me full of thoughts and ideas about both iOS development and life in general. Those thoughts made me balloon with hope and inspiration to keep fighting for my dream. And while I don’t have that job yet, I’m a far better developer at the end of 2019 then I was at the beginning in no small part because of you guys. So I cannot thank you guys enough. Happy New Year guys!

I’m writing this so I can be your 50th review. Also, I love all your references to this wonderful person named Raghav.

I’m a big fan of this show. I prefer the new format where the technical content is at the beginning and the off-topic conversation is at the end. One critique, It is very hard to hear the show in a loud environment because the audio levels are pretty low. Some compression to the audio would...Read full review »
