Not what it used to be.
Sadly, this Podcast isn’t what it once was. Of course Nate Silver is missed, but the whole 538 crew of podcasts participants seems to be hollowed out. Instead of a group of trusted voices on political/ polls/ data science covering interesting topics, it feels more like a single late night host having a softball interview with whatever couple of actors or musicians have something to plug (except here it’s like left-leaning polling firm representatives and media-type personalities from the parent corporation.). To me it’s still worth starting the episodes to see if they sound like something I’d want to listen to, but I find I don’t make to deep into very many these days.

Bringing some clarity and level headedness to a topic full of hyperbolic claims with no evidence attached. Ahh the joys of data.
