A 5th generation commodity crop farmer from Indiana, the Heartland of America, Rick Clark had an awakening during a one-inch rain event in 2007 that washed topsoil from his fields. That moment spawned a ten-year journey during which Rick created rich healthy soil that captures carbon and holds water, diversified his crops and increased his profits. This success placed him at the center of the film Common Ground. As the film says, Rick “cracked the code” of large-scale regenerative farming.

I highly recommend this informative podcast that brilliantly covers the world of food, agricultural business and technology. Not only does it provice an informative and hopeful survey of the many issues related to food, but folds in numerous convergent disciplines that orbit around agricultural issues, such as health, science and politics. You wont be sorry for having taken the time to check out this podcast. I only wish there was a deeper backlog, because I quickly binged listened all the episodes in a few days. Good work Michael.
