Question for the next pod!
Hey Max, First off, I love the show, you guys do a great job. Thanks for the constant entertainment. I noticed that Barry (unsurprisingly) was very much of the opinion that Bruno should have been sent off for the penalty he won against Villa because he came down on an opponent’s leg - Barry called it a stamp, and a stamp means a sending off. I don’t think that this type of thing is as black and white as that. Consider a scenario in which a striker jumps up for a header. While he is in the air, the defender slides his leg under the attacker. The attacker comes down on the defender’s leg. Is this a stamp? Is this a sending off offence? I’d love to hear the panel’s thoughts on both what happened in the game, as well as this imaginary scenario. I look forward to hearing your guy’s thoughts on Monday! Thanks for a great pod. Liam, from Canada

First time listener this week (9/5/07). I 'm a big fan of JR but this was badly produced and rambling. It really pales next to The Game, I'm afraid. James, jump ship and get a better team.Read full review »
