“I used to listen to the Guys all the time until I found more useful, informative podcasts for fantasy football. Bloom has become intolerable with his non-stop riffs/babble on some kind of tangent that he's going on that goes on forever. He honestly can NOT stop belaboring some kind of odd, tortured point he's trying to make. The two-point stance show has potential. But the Guys are showcasing Lauren Carpenter like she's the next big thing in fantasy football and I've never heard a host(ess) who routinely comes to a pod as unprepared and uninsightful ... She openly states that she's done no research for a show as if she's bragging about it. She totally coasts on "personality" and, frankly, her on-air personality is pretty grating and overbearing (i.e., it's all about her). The other hosts on the show bring actual insights and analytics and you'd think Carpenter would step up her game since they regularly demonstrate how little she brings to the table but she hasn't so far. Anyway, despite strong talent/insights elsewhere with the Guys, it's at best a second-tier fantasy football pod franchise now because Fantasy Football Today, Fantasy Footballers, Rotoworld, Most Accurate and others are simply putting out better and more informative shows, while still being entertaining.”Read full review »
