“I’ve known Matt for a while and have had the pleasure and good fortune to visit some of the sites he’s mentioned in Belgium following my grandfather’s footsteps with him. He’s not only great company but also a passionate trove of information at the historically strategic level and also the personal level of the individual, not only the generals, officers and hero’s but of the forgotten privates and corporals.
