Confronting and Heartbreaking
Women are still not worth protecting despite their contributions to economies and society; when corrupt governments help and collude with mobsters and narcos they become equal, and women pay the cost every time. It is shameful when any country tolerates or allows the violent killing of women so that “business’(and money) as usual” continues unabated. The retelling of these women’s stories is confronting, but if you are unprepared to understand the depths of depravity of how women are used, spat out and ignored by the world, then being confronted is the only way to understand the true story of the missing women of Juarez and the world. An exceptionally poignant and heartfelt exploration into a nightmarish world.
