THE FILM CAREER OF DIRECTOR WILLIAM GIRDLER
Listen now
Description
Dan and Bradley welcome their good friend, writer and movie super-genius Mr. Paul G (aka Paul Grammatico) to discuss the short, prolific and impressive career and array of films from the young director William Girdler who before he died at the young age of 30 brought us Aslym of Satan (1971), Three on a Meathook (1972), Zebra Killers (1973), Abby (1974), Sheba, Baby (1974), Project: Kill (1975), Grizzly (1976), and The Day of the Animals (1977). Grizzly was one of the top 10 grossing pictures in the United States in 1976. His final film, The Manitou, was made in 1977 and released a few weeks after his death. (links to wiki). This is another wild conversation, with lots of recommendations, so get your pen out and prepare yourself (warning, Bradley is slightly more unhinged than usual on this episode - it is likely due to the excitement of having Paul G on the episode). You can find Paul G on Twitter: PAUL G TWITTER  you can also find some of his work via: GODLESS PUBLISHING
More Episodes
Dan and Bradley talk with their good friends Elbee and Andrew, from Grumpire and Gimetzco, about the new film STRANGE DARLING and the kinda new(ish, for us) movie PIERCING.  We had a wonderful time as usual and we highly recommend you watch the films first because the show is super spoilery.
