intolerable editing choices, beginning at episode 4
This series started out quite well. Upon landing at episode 4, however, the atmosphere shifted, specifically inasmuch as the producer made the decision to loop RELENTLESSLY the 007 Bond film theme. After a full tortuous hour of attempting to assimilate the core material, all the while being mercilessly tortured by the same exact 5-second soundtrack loop, I determined that the principle of Respect For the Audience required that I abscond. How ANYONE could conceive of the possibility that a monotonous, obnoxious, and very much extended background track might make for good radio, I cannot imagine. Perhaps it must be attributed to the foolishness of youth.

Listening to “Shakespeare and the occult” so far and I like the deep dive your giving it. I also like the James Bond theme music throughout the podcast. Keep it up

What a pleasure it was to deep dive into this podcast and the learned host’s theory on the influence of Francis Bacon, and the Shakespeare scam - as part of myth-weaving for the burgeoning British empire. Informed and witty; an argument well posed and supported.

I found this show through Monica Perez , on “Monica’s Deep Dives” show and have to say this is awesome! Keep the episodes coming.
