This week we chat to Craig Roberts who directed The Phantom Of The Open (2022). It stars Mark Rylance, Sally Hawkins and Rhys Ifans. Premise: Based on the true story of Maurice Flitcroft, a dreamer and unrelenting optimist, who managed to gain entry to The British Open Golf Championship. Qualifying in 1976, Maurice subsequently shot the worst round in Open history, becoming a folk hero in the process. The Phantom Of The Open is currently available to watch in UK cinemas.
