You want to become self-employed? You came to the right place!
I initially found Free Agents through the Relay FM network. I was looking specifically for a podcast about self-employment. Free Agents was the absolute perfect fit. Its first 49 episodes were hosted by the brilliant David Sparks and Jason Snell, both independent workers with a good deal of experience about the ups and downs of leaving the nine to five. This is the podcast that inspired me to start digging my way out of working for the man. It’s easy to make mistakes when you take that step to go out and work on your own or start your own business, and that is why Free Agents is such a good source of information on that matter. As of episode #50, the equally brilliant Mike Schmitz has replaced Jason Snell, who might be returning for some guest interviews. The show is published every fortnight and until episode #49 it followed a strict pattern of a topical episode with the two hosts followed by a guest interview with someone who shares his or her experience of becoming a free agent. The hosts are incredibly humble people who are easy to listen to. This show has a special place in my heart.

Mike and David ask thoughtful questions and have meaningful conversations around focus and productivity which is a refreshing change from basic hacks and tips. Highly recommend!
