Changed to one star
EDIT: I changed this review to a one-star rating because I heard an ad for Exxon. EXXON. These people had the gall to make an advertisement about climate change, conveniently in a way that does not involve decreasing use of fossil fuels. We're talking about an existential crisis, and they still can't help but be harmful even in the process of trying to seem on the right side of history. If I ever hear another ad for that obviously and greatly immoral company, I'm going to unsubscribe from every single NPR podcast. I am absolutely disgusted. Typically, I find the episodes I'm interested in based on the topic/interviewee very satisfying, but many of the interviewees are obscure entertainers/critics/writers or other minimally known public figures that I've never even heard of, much less cared about. I wind up skipping more episodes of this podcast than just about any other, but I like the ones I listen to.Read full review »
