June 6, 20 Has Zimbabwe lost its way?, etc
This superb episode begins with a lucid description of the foggy chaos of today’s Zimbabwe, crystallised in the ghastly incident of three young women mocked and tortured, arrested and brutalised merely for having participated in a protest march. I’ve if them is an MP. It continues with a report from leafy, prosperous Brooklyn Heights in the throes of vandalism and near-despair during the current cop-brutality protests. Unheard-of! Impossible! Brooklyn Heights has always risen calmly and graciously above the fray, a world apart from whatever else was happening in Brooklyn. Finally, a mystical true tale about a fox, an owl, and a squirrel. MUST-listening!!!
