This has been such a great set of interviews. Will it be coming back? When will it? What’s Raequell doing now? We need more… more… more, please!

Raquel is an incredible interviewer. You can hear the warmth and empathy in her voice and she asks all the right questions.

Rochelle, I was moved to tears in your interview with Joe Kennedy. It was incredible to witness such a genuine human connection. This new podcast is a rare gem; your interview style is so comforting and gentle. I feel like I’m sitting with friends when I listen. I had to figure out how to leave a...Read full review »

What a brilliant beautiful soul … was a great interview ❤️

Raquel is a terrible interviewer. Because it was Casey the host of Casefile I pushed myself to listen to the end. Raquel literally fangirled Casey thru the whole uncomfortable episode and at the end I felt like an aural voyeur. Icky to say the least. Please Casefile don’t continue with Raquel and...Read full review »

Terrible host. It’s awkward.. Doesn’t control the conversation so becomes guests ramblers & questions are awks.

I was really touched by the interview with Maggie. Raquel, you have a heartfelt style of interviewing and I’m looking forward to more episodes. Well done.

The first 3 episodes of unfiltered have been really interesting, especially to hear Casey talk about his life. However, the host is frustrating to listen too. She talks really slowly, and I struggle a bit with her tone. Will continue to listen to the next couple of episodes and see if it improves
notimetowaste1 via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 09/09/23
Host focus is now too much on money making. The free podcast turns very quickly painful.

I was brought here by Casefile (one of my faves) but unfortunately wasn’t even able to get through the first episode before deciding to unfollow. The interviewer’s style is not for me, they interrupted ‘Casey’ at a vulnerable moment fairly early on and from then my dislike/irritation grew.
grumpychump via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 09/03/23
I did not enjoy O’Brien’s interview style. Her ‘mmm hmmm’ is unappealing. Her questions are more to bolster her own opinion and her own story. That’s not great. The Casey episode works only because he talked. I know it’s early days and hopefully she gets better but at this time - nope.

An inspiring conversation with two highly intelligent average guy soldiers. The experience that got them to the place they are now in is nothing short of harrowing. To hear their thoughts on empathy and conflict and acceptance was heart warming. Many people have a lot to learn from men like...Read full review »

Hey guys - first ep was fantastic. Nice to learn more about anon but this conversation took a turn I certainly wasn’t expecting. Very deep and raw. I salute you both for talking. Now following - not surprising - and look forward to more

Raquel: Thank you for this brilliant interview! Casey: thank you for creating this brilliant podcast. I loved your explanation for choosing the 1 narrator storytelling. My title says it All. This writer/narrator is the best there is. The cases chosen are interesting, compelling and demanding of the listener’s ear. Great writing. No junk chit chat. Yes we have to listen to ads but that’s life. I’ve listened to all the episodes and now I’m sad and antsy.

You need to follow casefile podcast to fully enjoy this one. But it’s great to be able to hear updates. Thanks Casey!

Episode 80 has always bothered me. Think Philip family covering for him for sure. He did them both in. Hope they reopen this case

I have to agree with some of the other reviewers, it does seem like this podcast is purely a means of spruiking books. The Beaumont Children episode is especially disappointing with a lot of rambling and repetition. I’m hopeful that things will improve as I really enjoy case files.

Wonderful companion to the original podcast. Just one gripe. The guest author in the Phillip Island episode is a nut job. She asserted a psychic vision as evidence. She should be immediately laughed at and her opinions discredited. Besides that great content, thanks to the producers.

When I listen to a true Crime podcast, I expect the raw truth, not sugar coated BS. That’s exactly what Case Files deliveres. Raw, factual story telling. Thank you.

I absolutely love this ideal, and how we’re able to follow up on cases and receive additional information. Great job! This team just continues to impress me from their incredible case coverage to new updates.

Huge huge fan of Casefile but have been a bit disappointed in from the Files. Content great but would rather it be a conversation. Not just one person relating their experience. In a conversation, questions could be asked. Maybe questions we all would like to ask. Understand “anonymous host” but...Read full review »

Too rambling. Needs more direction from the interviewer.

Not everyone enjoys the heavy use of high rising terminal or AQI. It sounds insecure, it’s nonsense uptalk used toward insubordinates and is insulting to your listeners or at least those versed in linguistics. It doesn’t make anyone sound more intelligent which is what it’s believed to accomplish...Read full review »

This is so well done just like case file. I look forward to the episodes and love that you continue to provide follow up/updates on old files. Thanks for making it so non-pattern people could enjoy this too!
AbbieWithAnIE via Apple Podcasts · Canada · 09/17/19
The case updates are good. The expert guest section is a thinly disguised advertisement for selling whatever book they are spruiking. The Beaumont Children expert was a paranoid and unconvincing guest.

Great to hear the follow-up information for many cases reported on Casefile. Very nice work. I hope both are around for a long, long time. Well done!👏👏👏👏👏

It took me a bit to start listening to the sister of Casefile, I thought it was going to be something different. This new podcast is almost as great as the original, BUT, what it gives is every bit as important as the original, it gives me closure on a lot of the cases that leave me feeling...Read full review »

Love this podcast. Often times the cases are presented with no follow up. This continues to give voices to victims and their families with either resolved or active cases. Excellent

I was thinking, surely this won’t be as good as casefile (because even when they make a “sister” program it never exceeds the hype of the original.) but boy was I wrong. I look forward to Casefile every weekend but I have to listen to the episodes over 4 sittings as the dudes voice is so calming it puts me to sleep (I mean that in a good way). I love this podcast because there’s no interrupting the other speaker - Casey asked the question and the responder answers. It’s true to the original case file and new information is learnt. Very interesting!
