Hi Melissa, I’m half-way through listening to the podcast on the ‘Lifesaving Covid Treatments…’ and you really know your stuff. Well researched and very informative - well done. One thing I think you need to be conscious of, though, is your very significant tendency to finish sentences about...Read full review »

Love the podcast that informs us of political and other news stories based on evidence and integrity!

Great episode as usual - I am really enjoying the quality journalism. Thanks for mentioning the raw chicken - I too cannot get the picture out of my head - I hope nobody ate it! I am always looking forward to the next episode. Keep up the great work and thank you.

Love the news room edition and great insight today on aged and child care, but what can we do to help improve things for these most important members of our country?

Decided to rename Australia Day as ‘Invasion Day’. Not Journalistic, just misguided
atodd3005 via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 01/27/22
I used to listen daily as I enjoy most of the topics discussed but am finding a lot of the interviews to be very one-sided with no critical questions. A good example is the ‘Invasion Day: Pay the Rent’ episode- no questions as to why current Australians and even migrants should pay for atrocities...Read full review »

I really love this podcast because it fleshes out Australian culture, offering fresh insights in every episode. Professional and thorough and a great credit to the grand old Grauniad.

Love the podcast however if it were related to Melissa Davey and her ‘why is NSW so good?’ narrative it would be 1 star. Look around.

Too much girly giggling and levity for a science report. Personal anecdotes, overuse of words like ‘basically’, ‘kinda’. You’ve got some good material. So why the jokey presentation?
Kaaren P via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 12/20/21
I would have given this podcast 5 for its content, but they have AGAIN chosen to run jarring ads of the type heard on commercial radio. A cruise company ad with hideous candied voiceover today has me writing this complaint again. Most podcasters read ads themselves so there is no change in...Read full review »

Could the host please learn how to say Omicron...it’s NOT “Ouma-cron”. Fool. The story lacked anything new. Old news. Nothing to see here folks, so move along please.

It’s hard to believe you’re getting the full story when the podcast is so far left it’s falling off the table. A blatant Labour Party plant of a podcast. A fair review from a non-coalition supporter. If you truly would like to hear the full story - avoid this one. Oh for non-political persuasion...Read full review »

I really enjoy the presenters however it would be nice to have some different topics. It seems like 90% of the stories are about climate change, important yes but doesn’t need to be every show!
aussiesaffa via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 11/11/21
Wow! Australia versus the climate- had me groaning, fuming, horrified and ashamed of our failure as a country. Even i knew we were climate laggards hearing it spelt out over 25 years of COPs was eye-opening. Listen and share and then go out and protest at the ballot box
NicoletteJa via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 10/31/21
A comprehensive explanation of Australia’s climate policy and its long term strategy of avoiding concerted effort to address climate change and how the government continues supporting fossil fuel industries.
rmfmy via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 10/30/21
I have just listened to all five episodes. It’s timely, important, excellent. I laughed, cried and learned things about my country and it’s leaders that have made me angry and embarrassed. Thanks so much to everyone involved in putting it together.

What a fantastic concentrated look at Australia’s climate change journey over the last two decades. It really highlights all the misdirection and gaslighting that has been going on, and gives profile to those wonderful people who have been working hard to throughout and have never given up -...Read full review »

Just listened to the story on strip searches. Have we sunk so low that minors going to a music festival are subjected to invasive and terrifying strip searches is the way that we as Australians think that police can behave? In most circumstances this would be statutory rape and child abuse. If a...Read full review »

We know the Chinese Government watch their citizens abroad, they spy on Chinese speaking churches. Do they have the same capability yet for use inside or outside China? Thank you, it’s a great series of episodes.

The Sydney Morning Herald, the Daily Telegraph… After being fed the vomit they spew out, it’s refreshing to finally find quality, non tabloid, actual journalism from people other than fresh UTS grads trying to make their clickbait headline quotas.

Editing has been pretty bad over a few episodes, including the latest one where an ad cuts in mid conversation on the Derek Chauvin trial. Another episode had Laura cut in while the UK host was still talking. Generally content is good, but would appreciate the editing being a bit sharper please!
