The episode failed to mention that the Christian Arabs who were in Iraq for centuries fled persecution at the hands of Isis only to be faced with similar conduct and retraumatised in their place of worship.

Really interesting analysis of the financial situation millennials and Gen’s Y and Z find themselves in due to the decisions starting in the 80’s and beyond.

Such a fabulous podcast series. Well researched and completely addictive. Loved!!

I loved this- and I learnt so much, this podcast puts it all together to sum up why the total ‘screwing over’ of the millennials happened. I lived through this as a Gen Xer, and have observed the chasm that has emerged in our society between the generations. So not ok!

No seems far left tribalistic view on issues. Seriously, let’s interview the ex-Greek finance minster for economic advice? Greece hasn’t been very well renowned for its economic policy…. A shame the show seems the be slipping more and more to the left.

It should be compulsory listening for my fellow Gen Xer’s and the Boomers. Happy to supply headphones, hammer, nails and labour to any grumpy old deniers who need help listening.

Been listening to the series about AI called Black Box. It’s really well written and clearly explained. Big drawback tho is it’s full of annoying and meaningless sound-effects. They are kitchy, waste a lot of time and make the whole thing a pain to sit through.

I previously unfollowed this show and rejoined again more recently. I’m again unfollowing this show having realized yet again why I did so last time. It’s stories have a tendency to be opinionated in a way that’s divisive. Skewed to tribalism instead of impartiality to be impactful. It’s sad...Read full review »

Still the best show for keeping up with climate action news with falling into a pit of despair xox

I have just finished listening to ‘the growing threat AI poses to journalism’ informative and scary. A call to arms! Some time back a Best of MSN Australia (Start Unfold) appeared in my emails - unrequested. Sky News and other Murdoch stuff was included in the mix - it had me wondering. After I...Read full review »

Sadly too biased for me to enjoy after several months of listening. Borders on ignorance.

I delay listening to the episodes until I’m in a position where I can forward over the ads. 3 ads in the middle of the episode is way too many. One - I can cop but three is way too time consuming. Otherwise, subject matter is great.

Thank you Lenore, Murph, and Gabrielle, for this very informative episode, I have always loved sourcing the Guardian as a source of honest, factual journalism. This podcast should be compulsory listening for every Australian before the referendum on Saturday. Maybe truth-telling should have come before the Voice. Confronting, dreadful listening but so necessary.

22/9/23 discussion about housing crisis. Zero mentions of net migration which happens to have been 454,000 people in year through to March. Pathetic. Housing crisis is a demand problem. How about we talk about that?

Love the news room edition on a Friday and great insight today on what’s already being done to stop gambling ads from proliferating our lives. What can we do to support the removal of such ads from TV, radio, podcasts etc. - any advice?

I love this podcast, but the background music piped in behind the interviews and commentary sounds horrible through small speakers! irritating and distracting. we aren't all listening on top-end earphones! It is troubling that our media seem incapable of basic mathematics- you can’t rapidly increase the population and have tax settings designed to benefit property squatters and baby boomers specifically- then complain about housing shortages. This subject is one that attaches the largest blind...Read full review »

Just a small semantic point but if the media wants to lead the push for action on climate change they could start by expunging the phrase “they/he/she/we ‘believe’ in climate change” and replacing it with “T/H/S/W believe in ACTION ON climate change.”? It’s a small change but factual. No one...Read full review »

This is a podcast that should not of been aired until the investigation was completed and released. The BRS series is great and exactly what I needed for one of the most topical and important cases in Australia. It was clear, plainly explained, low on rhetoric and high on objective information.

I’ve always enjoyed Full Story but your work on the Ben Roberts-Smith case was outstanding. Incredibly well produced and really well explained. Such a complex case but you somehow made it clear - and also completely gripping without being overly dramatic

This podcast does a great job as telling all sides of this really important Australian defamation case story. So much at stake, for both sides; but over arching is a foreboding of what really goes on in futile wars, the human cost, and the fallout.

This is a great podcast, but a few weeks ago the presenters started grunting whilst their guests are talking. I know they have heard it on one of the USA newspapers’ pods, but that doesn’t make it OK! NY Times, I think. What is it meant to mean?
