Generally great, could do with a little more nuance
I enjoy the Full Story podcast, but the most recent episode 'The people left behind in Australia's coronavirus response' came across more as a piece of advocacy than a piece of balanced journalism. I fully respect The Guardian's right to take a strong editorial stance, but this is a complicated topic and the episode would have benefited from presenting a more nuanced range of perspectives. For example, it could have complemented the emotive personal stories made in the episode with a more detailed rationale for why the government made the policy decisions which it has, and what the associated costs and benefits would be of expanding financial assistance, to give a better understanding of this complex issue.Read full review »

The editing and constant overlay of voices is painful to listen to especially in the most recent podcast on the bushfires. A shame because the content seems informative and interesting but I can’t stand to listen to anymore.

Really interesting stories, reported thoughtfully and deeply.

I’ve loved every single episode so far. They’re extremely interesting and everything is explained simply. Each episode so far has covered a topic I’ve either previously been interested in or didn’t even know about. Great host as well.
