Interesting and Inspirational
Richard Bliss's podcast about Kickstarter gives you a real sense of what is going on in this exciting new approach to boardgame production More importantly, he and his guests put this information within the context of the boardgaming industry and other types of Kickstarter projects -- something I'd never taken the time to consider. It's truly fascinating to find out what works, what doesn't, and what Kickstarter can and can't do to help you realize your dream. This podcast makes you want to set up your own project; it also introduces you to some really cool people and projects that are already out there. After listening to the interview with Matt Forbeck, for instance, I couldn't help myself -- I went out and bought a stack of his old books. And I'm curious to see more.
