Should be mandatory listening for anyone who knows a young person!
Hands down, the most valuable discursive podcast available right now. Every single episode adds more to my understanding of gender, of adolescence, identity transitions, existential questions, the ambivalence of the human experience, meaning and psychoanalysis, the therapeutic process and the role of adults (and the institutions they run) in failing to safeguard, failing to inquire and failing to be responsible. The guests are brilliant, and hearing from experts/psychologists and people’s whose lived experience goes against the endorsed narrative is a breath of fresh air. Always compassionate, always curious and always accepting of difference and of the individual. I’ve shared episodes with so many friends. Many of Sasha and Stella’s conversations have helped my own self-awareness about how I relate to the issues raised, which has massively influenced how I think about my adult self and look back on my adolescence. So, thanks to both of you for publicly having these important educational discussions, but also thank you on a personal level for continuing to feed my insatiable mind with your (and your guests’) expertise and reflections!

More reviews of Gender: A Wider Lens
I am so grateful for all the work and care you have put into this. Rogd is a traumatic experience for both the kids and the parents, I have gained valuable knowledge and understanding from your podcasts plus the relief of knowing we are not alone in our experience, our fears and our approach.

Maybe it gets better with more episodes but the first episode is filled with anti science transphobic nonsense. Stella is obviously a repressor TERF, she had all the talking points. Not surprised. They have talked nothing about actual dysphoria, just enby gender identity nonsense. Not worth the...Read full review »
