Roberta Maierhofer is Professor at the Department of American Studies at the University of Graz, Austria, as well as Adjunct Professor at Binghamton University, New York. She wrote her dissertation on William H Gass and has taught and published on US writers of the 1930s, documentary file, American culture in the 1980s and on various aspects of women and again in American literature and culture. Her most recent book is Narratives of Life: Mediating Age (co-edited with Heike Hartung).
A Panel discussion consisting of numerous female teachers talk about women in education (teachers, professors), issues concerning female students and women who wish to get into education, and the future of education for women.
