Fragile X

Great explanation on fragile x syndrome and carrier premutation. Thank you! Sweet couple covering genetic mutations in a convo format between a scientist and a layperson.

Interesting subject matter but pretty slow to get through

So I love the idea of this podcast. Unfortunately it’s almost impossible for me to listen to because they move through the information so slowly because they stop every 30 seconds to explain things. I understand that this is a podcast primarily aimed at non-scientists, but it’s somewhat annoying to have extremely basic concepts like gene expression or regulation or very basic anatomy terms or (even non scientific) vocabulary words explained. I think this would be a bit more engaging if you assumed that your listeners had a level of science understanding that most high school graduates would have.

Thingz of That Nature ,

Informative

With COVID happening right now this is a fascinating and informative podcast on the illnesses that are in this world
