Description
Scott Wideman was the quarterback of the 1977 Rio Hondo Prep football team that defeated Montclair Prep in 3OT for the CIF Championship. Today, he is an Assistant Director of Kare Youth League and oversees operations at Wingate Park in Covina. Scott was one of the most notable coaches from the West Covina Cardinals back in the day and was also a 6th grade teacher at Rio Hondo Prep for many years. He is a big LA Rams and USC Trojans fan, so he knows a thing or two about rooting for underachieving teams. We chat about his journey through KYL and his other experiences that have shaped his life. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/15mph/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/15mph/support
