Steve Martin played in Rio Hondo Prep's first ever CIF Championship Game back in 1972. Although the Kares lost that day, he and his teammates were considered the pioneers for one of the great high school football programs in the San Gabriel Valley. Steve went on to a great career in the sound industry and coached countless kids in Kare Youth League for many years.
