Hi! I'm Michelle, founder of The Whole Smiths and author of two best-selling, healthy cookbooks. Somewhere along my journey into health and wellness, I realized wellness and feeling good was about more than just diets and exercise. It's about the people we surround ourselves with, our mindsets, the belief systems we hold on to and the habits and rituals we hold for ourselves. In Get Wellthy, we explore a myriad of wellness topics that have the potential to improve our lives, reset our bodies, shift our minds and get us feeling good again. Not to mention, we do it in a fun, approachable, and super unpretentious way. If that doesn't hook you, I'm a wanna-be comedian so come join us for the jokes and let me entertain you.

    Tuning In To Our Intuition

What exactly is intuition and do all of us have it? How do we recognize intuition in an overthinking mind? Should we always listen to our intuition?

We all know what intuition means but are we actually tapping into it and using it for our highest good? These are just few of the questions Brad & Michelle explore in today's episode about, you guessed it, intuition.

When Your Work Out Isn't Working Out

When Your Work Out Isn't Working Out

Does it ever seem like the work you're putting into your workouts doesn't line up with the results you're seeing? Does it ever feel like everyone else has all the time in the world to fit in a workout, except for you? Do you feel what once worked for your body is no longer effective?

If you answered, "yes" to any of those questions, this episode is for you. Michelle & Brad talk about how to move forward when you get into a workout rut. And don't worry, it's not just the same, "wake up earlier", "try harder" that we've become accustomed from hearing from the fitness industry. Instead, it's a realistic, approachable conversation on identifying what's not working, how to pivot and how to stay with it.

So Insightful and Relatable

I just listened to the episode on anxiety with Dr. Jud to help deal with crippling anxiety over Covid + Delta. Listening did so much to help start breaking the cycle of why and how I feed my anxiety. Honestly, every episode I’ve listened to is incredibly relatable to what I strive for in my wellness. Michelle’s questions are so insightful and her experiences are so universal. I’m so glad to have this podcast in my toolbox!!
