Casual Sexism Ruins the Party
Found Giles through supersizers years ago and thought he was fun and charming, was thrilled to see he had a podcast. I really wanted to like this but the smug, flippant way he talks about women’s rights issues as if they’re an annoying trend is really, really disappointing. If he was being casually racist or homophobic, he wouldn’t be allowed to air, but snark towards women is apparently completely fair game at the Times.

This podcast is like reading his column in colour. (Bit gutted his voice doesn’t match his face.)

I love Giles Coren and this is a joy to listen to - funny, engaging and also just really lovely to listen to two people clearly enjoying themselves.
