At just 7 years old, Ray endured physical abuse from his father, his once-hero who became his biggest enemy. Struggling to cope, Ray turned to gangs and a life of crime, entering the juvenile system at 13 and eventually landing in prison. Ray's trauma led him to live a fear-based life, feeling unloved, with low self-esteem and self-worth. Sentenced to life in prison, Ray's journey took a transformative turn, prison changed his life. Education changed his life. It was there he discovered his truths, learned to cope with his pain, and found the strength to forgive his father.
